You Are Here is a live performance involving dance, live music and spoken-word, taking place within the Wedgwood Institute – Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. Inspired by the experiences of the cast members who have moved, or been moved, to Stoke-on-Trent. You Are Here is a promenade performance – the audience will move around the building from story to story.

5th – 8th October 2016 – performances at 7.30pm, plus an extra show Saturday at 4pm.

What to expect from You Are Here?

This is a promenade performance, which means that the audience move around the Wedgwood Institute to experience parts of the performance that take place in different rooms. There will be some opportunities to sit but some parts will involve standing. Audiences will be guided through the performance in a set order by helping hands.

What is The Wedgwood Institute?

The Wedgwood Institute was built in 1865 as a place for educating the hard-working folk of Burslem in science, business and the arts. It is about to be fully restored by the The Prince’s Regeneration Trust and this performance will be one of the only opportunities to experience the current charm of the building before work commences. The full address is: The Wedgwood Institute, Queen Street, Burslem, ST6 3EF
