On 22nd September Suzanne Withington will be presenting a talk at The Potters’ Club on the Life and Paintings of well known Mow Cop artist, Jack Simcock.  Suzanne was Jack’s partner for over 14 years and is set to share his thoughts on his life, his art and his poetry as well as showing work from her own personal collection that has never been shown publicaly before.

In his life Simcock held over 50 solo exhibitions and his work was widely applauded and instantly recognizable.  This celebration of his work is not to be missed for anyone who loves and admires Stoke on Trent art and artists and will supply a really unique opportunity to understand first hand the things Jack Simcock loved, and hated.

The talk is being held in the splendour of The Potters Club with pre-talk drinks provided. Copies of Jack’s Autobiography and Poetry will also be for sale on the evening.

Thursday 22nd September 2016 at The Potters Club, Federation House, Station Road, Stoke on Trent ST4 2SA. Free Car Parking is available to the rear of the building.

Time: 19.00 – 20.30 with drinks reception
