Appetite Stoke – the Arts council funded 3 year Creative People and Places arts engagement programme for Stoke-on-Trent –  is offering a fantastic opportunity for a professional documentary filmmaker to document their summer programme of amazing outdoor arts activities and thrilling large scale performance events.

You need to be an experienced filmmaker to film, produce and edit a short film about all the events taking place in summer 2013 as part of a ‘taster programme’.   Highlights  include:

You will need to prove that you have significant experience and professional expertise in filming large-scale events, including filming the public and doing interviews & voxpops.  You also require strong post production ability to edit a high quality documentary that will include a strong narrative and capture the story of the summer Appetite programme in an imaginative way

The individual or company would need to be available 26 July – 1 November and the fee is £3000 to include travel, subsistence and includes all filming and editing.

Provide 3 relevant examples of films you’ve filmed and produced, a CV and a covering letter/email outlining your experiences and relevant skills to the Appetite Creative Producer, Gemma Thomas by 17 July. The films can be sent via file transfer sites, links to website or hard copies can be sent to gemma@appetitestoke.co.uk or posted to Appetite, New Vic Theatre, Etruria Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 0JG
