Book worms can spend an afternoon with best-selling author Sarah Beeson MBE at a talk hosted by Staffordshire Library Service.
‘Our Country Nurse’ is Sarah’s second memoir from her 35 year career as a nurse, some of which she spent in Staffordshire, and tells the story of a newly qualified health visitor working her patch in 1975.
Sarah will be at Newcastle-under-Lyme library for an exclusive talk on Thursday 29 September from 2pm. Sarah, along with her daughter and co-writer, Amy Beeson, will also be at Burton Library on Tuesday 25 October at 6.30pm.
