The Brewhouse Arts Centre in Burton Upon Trent is looking for an Arts Assistant (Intern) to support the Arts Manager & Creative Arts Officer for the arts development programmes led by the Brewhouse. Mainly supporting the work aimed at engaging family audiences with the Brewhouse.
They are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the arts, with good communication skills and an understanding of producing marketing materials and using social media. An element of the role will be to assist with events and an ability to manually set up and move equipment, prepare rooms is essential.
Skills & Experience
They are looking for someone willing to learn and with the confidence to work with a range of different partners, from customers to artists to councillors, with some experience of being in a customer facing role.
Additional Information
This paid internship has been created as part of the Creative Employment Programme. The Creative Employment Programme is an Arts Council England fund to support the creation of traineeships, formal apprenticeship and paid internship opportunities in England for unemployed young people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector.
