Thanks to funding from the Arts Council, Arts Connect West Midlands is hosting an afternoon session on creative media in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Create Digital comics, puppet shows, websites and editing… all with simple low cost/free creative digital software (ipad & PC).
This hands-on session will also cover how to produce websites in minutes for digital portfolios (useful for Arts Award) and top tips for safe and effective ways to use social media.
Do bring ipads/laptops….. but we’ll have extras for you too.
The session takes place on Monday, 27 January 2014 from 13pm to 5pm to 17:00 at Partners in Creative Learning (PICL), 14a King Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 1EJ

Arts Connect is funded by Arts Council England to provide a range of ‘bridge’ services across the West Midlands. This involves supporting connections, providing brokerage, building capacity and developing new ways of working by the arts and cultural sector with young people in school and in their own free time. Arts Connect is not funded by ACE to produce art, to run programmes of creative and arts education with young people or act as a grant funder to support such projects.
The purpose of the bridge programme is to enable children and young people to connect with high quality arts and culture.
